Megan Flynn received her MFA in Dance from the University of California, Irvine and is currently based in Cincinnati, OH. From 2022-24, she served as the Gustave L. Davis ’59 and Susan S. Davis Director of Dance/Artist-in-Residence at Union College. Previously, Megan was an Assistant Professor in Dance in the Theatre & Dance Department at Muhlenberg College where she was on faculty from 2013-22. Megan received a Professional Diploma in Dance Studies from the Laban Centre in London, and earned her BFA in Dance, summa cum laude, from Newcomb College, Tulane University. Megan is a member of The NADINE Project, a choreographic collective under the direction of Libby Nye & Janet Soares. Previously, she performed in the companies of David Parker & The Bang Group (NYC), Eliza Miller Dance (NYC), Kathy Westwater (NYC), and EgoArt, Inc. (Boston). Performances abroad include: ATLAS/ImPulsTanz: Vienna International Dance Festival (Austria); Edinburgh Fringe Festival (Scotland); Daghdha Mentoring Program (Ireland); Brighton Fringe (England); Resolution! Festival (England); The Russia Project (Moscow, St. Petersburg, and Ekaterinburg, Russia); and the Dance Improvisation & Choreography Festival (Spain).

She is currently an Academy Instructor for the Cincinnati Ballet’s Otto M. Budig Academy. She has also taught at UC Irvine, MiraCosta College, and Milton Academy, and as a guest teacher for summer programs including: Earl Mosley’s Institute of the Arts/EMIA, Philadelphia Dance Academy, Delaware Valley Dance Academy, Summer Stages Dance at Concord Academy, and the Boston Ballet School. Megan trained with mentor Lawson Harris/Half Moon Pilates and is a certified Pilates apparatus and mat instructor since 2007.
